First Full Day

Well,

I am back from the house finally. I walked into the house covered from head to toe with black dust. I was able to get the front left chimney down below the roof line. I need to get two more below the roof line before the slate company comes to rip off the slate. I also tore out Josie's Closet, some of the walls, and some of the ceiling. I now have access to the chimney in her room. I found it very difficult and I am too much a scaredy cat to get on the slate roof. The dumpster is there and the fun now begins! Amber will post some pictures tonight or tomorrow to catch everyone up.

A New Beginning

Amber and I have chosen to start a blog with the rehab of our new old house. We will try to post as often as we can. Just so that you are all caught up we are purchasing a home in Lancaster, Ohio. We have chosen this area to be closer to family both for help with our children and to help with whatever they need. We have been living in Lancaster since Novemeber 2008. We have been living with Amber's mother since moving. We finally sold our house after more than a year on the market. The house we are purchasing is in need of a great deal of work and that is why we are starting this blog. We will bring all of you up to date on our progress and our stalls during the deconstruction, construction and finishing of our new old house.
